EXAMINATION, DIAGNOSTICS

Dental assessment is an extremely important and fundamental step in maintaining and improving oral health. During the assessment, the dentist pays attention to tooth decay, gum diseases, possible dental restorations or previous interventions, as well as the condition of the oral tissues. The purpose of the examination is to preserve healthy teeth, recognize potential problems early, and develop an appropriate treatment plan accordingly.
Regular and thorough examination of the mouth, teeth, dental arch, bone structure, mucous membranes, and chewing muscles, supplemented by X-rays and other diagnostic methods, taking into account the patient’s general health condition, is essential for establishing a diagnosis and choosing therapy.
The advantage of digital dental assessment is that it provides more accurate and faster results, which can be easily compared with previous examinations. Additionally, digital data can be easily stored and shared with other professionals, facilitating coordination of oral treatment plans and enhancing the efficiency of patient care.
Our clinic is equipped with the most advanced digital radiographic diagnostic equipment. In addition to typical X-rays (OP, panoramic, intraoral), our device is capable of detailed and layered imaging of the temporomandibular joint, sinus cavity, as well as specific jaw structures, and edited stereographic images.
Oral Cancer Screening
Oral tumors and precancerous conditions are easily examinable, visible, timely detectable, and respond well to early therapy.
For our new patients, as well as periodically for existing ones without specific request, we perform tumor screening by thoroughly examining the oral mucosa, tongue, throat, palpating the neck to detect any indicative lymph nodes, which can provide diagnostic information.
In cases of suspicion or specific signs, further examinations are conducted or arranged (X-rays, ultrasound, specialist consultations).
Histopathology, laboratory tests, bacterial cultures
All removed tissues are sent for histopathological examination, even if they are clearly benign or only inflammatory material. This is necessary for potential future treatments and for accurate descriptions. With our laboratory background, we aim for a more precise and careful diagnosis.
Our patients and colleagues may receive the images in print or on a PenDrive.
